Part of artist Jenna Landsom Paulsen’s most recent collection, the Radiance Collection.
Luminous brings to life a November scene from Buttermilk Falls in Upstate NY. Leafless branches of a towering, deep magenta tree in the foreground draw the eye inward toward the sun that illuminates sparse, sun-soaked evergreen branches. Short brushstrokes in subtle blues, deep greens and lavenders suggest a thick forest that extends as far as the eye can see. Long shadows in the foreground painted in blues, purples and periwinkles are framed by vibrant reds, deep golds and white-yellows that reflect the warmth of the sun.
